This program ensures that families have a robust circle of support, even after their cases are closed. By cultivating and empowering these connections, the Ambassador Project helps create communities where families feel supported, valued, and never alone.

Ambassadors are mentors who are current or former foster or kinship caregivers. They understand the unique challenges families face. As trusted advisors, they are spread across the state by judicial districts, making it easier for them to engage with and empower families in their local counties. Ambassadors connect the community by hosting monthly events, strengthening connections, and guiding caregivers to local resources and support.
