Everyone thinks they understand child welfare. Caregivers know the real story.

There's what people assume about foster, kinship, and biological caregiving - and then there's the lived reality only you know.

So we're asking the people who actually live it:

👉 What do people ALWAYS misunderstand about child welfare?

Drop it in the comments. Your honesty helps other caregivers feel less alone - and helps our wider community finally get it. 💙

Tag a fellow caregiver whose voice deserves to be heard here. 👇

Be the Source

We love reading your comments on classes you've watched on demand. Here's one from last week: Be The Source has been integral to my ability to keep fostering! The support they provide from caregiver therapy, support groups that foster connection with other resource families, and the ongoing training opportunities to help me better parent children from difficult places and understand trauma have given me the full service support network I need to keep showing up for kids in care. #bethesourceco #healingcentered #traumainformed #thisisfostercare #kinshipcare #powerofwe #peertopeersupport #nonprofit #colorado ...
